River Kerr, Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern
My name is River (they/them) and I am a student therapist pursuing my Master of Social Work degree. I have experience working in both inpatient and outpatient environments, as well as crisis intervention and group work. My therapeutic approach is person-centered. I believe that each person is the expert of their own life and story and I am here to walk alongside you. I see healing as a journey that does not always follow a straight line. I believe in the inherent wisdom each person holds, and I want to help you uncover and explore your strengths. My work is grounded in the belief that our experiences cannot be separated from our cultures, families, relationships, and society. I am here to help you explore both your inner and outer world with curiosity and without judgement. Whether you are navigating grief, identity, significant life changes, or intense emotional experiences, I am here to support you.
