Mimi Dickey

Mimi Dickey is a candidate in the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program with an emphasis on trauma at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). She holds a master’s degree in Psychological Science and has been training as a student therapist for the last three years. Mimi’s experience has revolved around working with veterans and community members affected by trauma and PTSD. She has a particular interest in helping individuals affected by complex trauma, sexual assault, and intimate partner violence.

Mimi’s approach to therapy is collaborative and informed by evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She is also trained in trauma-focused treatment approaches, including Prolonged Exposure (PE) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Overall, she strives to ensure you are meeting your personal goals and living a meaningful life.

Outside of therapy, you can find Mimi hunting down delicious food, taking naps with her cats, and training Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
