Kade Stanzilis, LPCC, EMDR-t
Interest:
Being truly seen and understood is at the heart of my work. My goal is to help you make sense of painful stories, patterns, and the different parts of yourself — parts that hold what couldn't be felt or processed at the time. I believe the relationship between us can become a place to notice old patterns as they show up, and to practice something different. I am particularly grateful to work with teens and adults from marginalized backgrounds, especially those who are LGBTQIA2S+, BIPOC, disabled, and neurodivergent, as well as those struggling with substance use and recovery.
Approach:
My approach is relational, grounded, and practical — not rooted in trends or buzzwords. As a relational counselor, I pay close attention to what happens between us, using that to understand patterns shaped by difficult experiences, including parts of you that feel scattered or far away. I integrate a range of modalities depending on what you specifically need, always working toward a life that feels unified and true to you.
Background:
I earned an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) in Colorado, supervised by Kelley Harrow, LAC, LPC, SEP, ACS.
Outside of the therapy room, you can find me wheel throwing (pottery), crocheting, or riding my bike.
Professional Memberships: The World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH).
