Danny Mutz, Counseling Intern
I have my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS), with an emphasis in Addictions Counseling. I work with clients of all ages and bring extensive experience supporting teenagers and young adults. I am currently accepting new clients.
I value creating a collaborative, affirming, and compassionate space where clients from all walks of life feel seen and supported. I have strong background in working with neurodivergent and queer clients in an affirming and trauma-informed environment. My background also includes working with individuals navigating chronic health challenges, which has deepened my understanding of resilience, systemic barriers, and the mind-body connection.
My counseling approach is grounded in Relational Cultural Therapy (RCT), which emphasizes the power of connection, authenticity, and empowerment in the healing process. I believe that meaningful growth occurs through relationships that honor mutual respect and recognize the impact of our social and cultural environments.
