Daisy Khoury, Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern
Daisy Khoury is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling practicum student at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Her path into counseling grew out of a deep curiosity about the human condition—why we love, shut down, rebel, stay, leave, repeat patterns, and still keep reaching for meaning.
Daisy does not view people as “problems to be fixed,” but as humans who have adapted to difficult environments in the most creative ways they could. She is especially interested in how trauma, culture, and systems shape our bodies, beliefs, and nervous systems, and she works to honor clients’ survival strategies rather than pathologize them.
In her free time, Daisy practices yoga, loves to cook, and enjoys music and art as ways to stay connected to herself and the world around her.
