Celia Palmer, Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern

Hi, I’m Celia (they/them)! As a counselor, my intention is to offer empowering, consent-based care for clients seeking to understand the impact of past experiences and systemic stressors on their relationships with themselves, others, and life itself. I support clients of all ages in developing their own frameworks for meaning-making and taking steps toward greater authenticity. I especially enjoy working with individuals navigating LGBTQ identities, grief and loss, and life transitions.

I come to counseling with personal and professional backgrounds in arts education, LGBTQ advocacy, and foodservice. I am currently working toward my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at UCCS, with an emphasis in addictions counseling. Outside of counseling, I enjoy knitting, morning walks, and riding my bike.
