I am Britney Alderton, currently a working towards a Master's of Social Work intern focusing on substance use recovery and trauma informed care at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Empathy is the baseline of my approach. I truly want everyone to be seen, valued, and heard. I have experience in retail, leadership, and working alongside people that want to grow and develop. Retail has given me the experience of working with and serving many people in different walks of life and navigating challenging topics in the past 11 years. Leadership has given me the opportunity to adjust my approach and meet people where they are in their journey. Everyone needs someone in life to pull them back on their feet and give them the means to keep going no matter how hard the road ahead can get.
