Angelina James, Counseling Intern
Angelina James (she/they) earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in 2026. She is passionate about creating a warm, affirming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe showing up authentically and exploring their experiences with curiosity and compassion.
Working from a Gestalt-oriented lens, Angelina values helping clients deepen awareness of their emotions, relationships, patterns, and sense of self. She believes past experiences and the messages people receive throughout their lives can shape how they relate to themselves and others, often in ways that go unnoticed. Through authenticity, presence, and genuine connection, she supports clients in developing greater self-understanding and reconnecting with parts of themselves that may have been dismissed, hidden, or overlooked.
Angelina enjoys working with individuals from all backgrounds and is especially passionate about supporting individuals within the LGBTQ+ community. She believes healing begins when people feel truly seen, heard, and accepted, including by themselves.
