Rebecca Cota, MA, NLC

Rebecca (she/her/ella) is a trained Peer Recovery Coach (CCART) and Family Support Facilitator of the Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT) method as well as currently certified in the Invitation to Change approach with the Center for Motivation and Change. Rebecca is bilingual and bicultural in Spanish and has experience with multiracial family systems and their challenges. Over the past 30 years, she has mentored and supported women and families overcoming the challenges inherent to familial alcoholism. Her approach to therapy focuses on the whole person to establish the safety and the clarity needed for the client’s confident, self-exploration on their journey to recovery.

Rebecca's goal is to foster an environment of security and acceptance for clients to reach a greater understanding of their difficulties, and relief from current suffering through empowered cognitive awareness strategies that enable renewed enthusiasm and focus for their lives.
